Hello World~!
I imagine that if you are reading this, you probably know me, but just in case you donāt let me give you a short introduction: My name is Nicholas and I like to make things.
Also, if youāve gotten to know me over the last 20 years, while working in tech or studying, teaching, and traveling, you may not know that I got my start on a small organic farm, raising animals on a garden for consumption. We butchered animals and made pickles and baked fresh bread. I also worked in various resturants where I washed dishes and then prep-cooked, and worked the line, I also baked bagels in a bakery and popped a shit ton of popcornā¦
Over the last couple years, Iāve been working on bringing Sweeney Ridge, my take on a brewery, delicatessen to Pacifica where I now live. Unfortunately as ventures like this go, it has taken longer and cost more than I would have suspected to find a proper home that fits the vision I have in mind.
Anyway, while Iāve been scouting the pacific coast for a location, Iāve also been doing a couple other things:
- Building a 500 gallon commercial smoker
- Smoking meats
- Creating and refining recipes for various types of kimchi, pickles,marinades, sauces and rubs
- Baking Bread
- Putting together a nano brewery
- Farming yeast and making beer
- Growing herbs and vegetables
- Roasting Coffee
- Visiting farmers and suppliers
While Iām not allowed by law (for now - am working on getting all the licenses) to offer all of the things Iāve been working on just yet. There are a couple things I can share, namely my coffee, soda water and sandwiches made in San Francisco.
The first three pop-ups will be in early February near Pacifica/San Bruno for pickup with SF events to follow.
